- Whether anything changed. A new filter, plumbing work under the sink, a power cut, the unit pulled out for cleaning.
- Where any water is. In front of the unit, under the drawers, frozen in the freezer or dripping at the dispenser.

Cubes coming out hollow and cloudy, which I assumed meant the whole module. Pressure at the valve was low and the module was fine once its screen was cleaned. He could have sold me the expensive part.
